MICHAEL E. KELLY - SUPERVISOR
Michael E. Kelly was born and raised in Dundee, Illinois. Graduated from St. Edward High School in Elgin, Lewis University in Joliet and Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago. He has practiced law in Bartlett since 1984.
Mike is active in the community. He is Republican Committeeman for Hanover Township, President of the Board of Trustees of the Bartlett Learning Center; past Secretary and Director of the Bartlett, Hanover Park, and Streamwood United Way; Member of the St. Peter Damian Knights of Columbus; Bartlett Lions Club; Streamwood Kiwanis and the Bartlett and Streamwood Chambers of Commerce; Member of the Illinois, Kane County and Northwest Suburban Bar Associations and the Fox Valley Emerald Society.
Mike lives in Bartlett and is married to Helen. They have 5 children: Philip, Molly, Ann Marie, Jack, and Mary Catherine.
He has been Hanover Township Supervisor since 1997.

BRIAN P. MCGUIRE - CLERK
Brian P. McGuire was appointed Clerk in May of 2003, to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of the previous Township Clerk. He was elected to a full term in 2005.
Prior to his appointment Brian served as a Township Trustee, earning three statewide awards and working on many new Township programs and initiatives including the open gym program, tutoring program and community nutrition site.
Brian lives in Bartlett with his wife, Heidi, and their three children, Carly, John, and Kevin. He is a Captain with the Bartlett Fire Protection District and serves on the Board of Directors for the Bartlett Veterans Memorial Foundation. Prior to serving with the Bartlett Fire Department he was a paid on call firefighter for the Village of Streamwood.
Brian is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and St. Edwards Central High School in Elgin. He is employed as Senior Regional Manager with the National Association of Manufacturers.

CRAIG OCHOA - HIGHWAY COMMISSIONER
Craig Ochoa was appointed to the position of Hanover Township Highway Commissioner
in March of 2007 (which was left vacant by Timothy O. Schneider who was elected as
Cook County Commissioner for the 15th District in November of 2006).
As the new Highway Commissioner, Mr. Ochoa wants to continue the programs and progress Mr. Schneider and staff have accomplished over the last 10 years by ensuring
that the “unincorporated” road system and bridges safely meet the challenges ahead.
We want to develop a long term, strategic plan to resurface our Township roads and
ensure they are maintained and are ready to meet the future and growing demands
set by our residents.
As we continue to expand, Mr. Ochoa wants to make sure the Highway Department
strives to bring it’s residents excellent service by furthering the development of our
brush pick-up program and maintaining the very high level of fiscal responsibility for
the department and Township. In the last 8 years, under Mr. Schneider, the Road
District’s budget has remained exactly the same without any increase which Mr. Ochoa
hope to maintain in the coming years.
Mr. Ochoa is the President of his own business within the Township called You’re #1, Inc.
which specializes in imprinted promotional advertising products and corporate gift. He has served as a Board of Director for both the Bartlett and Streamwood Chamber of Commences. He is the immediate past President of the Bartlett Chamber. He also sits as one of the Board of Directors for Harris Bank.
Mr. Ochoa is an 19 year resident of Bartlett and lives with his wife and three daughters.
In addition, Mr. Ochoa is a 26 year veteran professional football and basketball referee working mostly in the Big 10 Football Conference and the Arena League.

THOMAS S. SMOGOLSKI - ASSESSOR
Thomas S. Smogolski was elected as the Township Assessor in 2001.
Tom, his wife Cathy, and their three children, Kayla and twins Amanda and Jeffrey live in Bartlett. Tom and Cathy have lived in Bartlett since 1989.
Tom holds the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute, which he was awarded in 1989 and the CIAO designation from the State of Illinois with over 600 hours of classroom and support classes. Tom is a licensed Certified Residential Appraiser and a licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois. He has had his own real estate appraising business since 1983.
Tom is also a member of the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Assessors Association and the Cook County Township Assessors Association. Tom brings a strong knowledge of real estate to the Assessor's office.

WILLIAM T. BURKE - COLLECTOR
William T. Burke was elected in April 2005 to fill the vacant Township Collector position.
The Collector's office is his first public position, fulfilling a long time desire to service as an elected official. He believes that strength of Township government is its direct affect for those people needing assistance and in providing for the social welfare of the community.
Bill resides in Streamwood with his wife, Sarah, and daughters Brenna and Kaylynn. Having grown up in Streamwood, he attended School District U-46 and Elgin Community College.
Employed by the Village of Streamwood Fire Department since 1981, first as a paid-on-call firefighter and a full-time firefighter since 1986. He currently serves as a Lieutenant/Paramedic and is the long term President of the Streamwood Firefighters Union IAFF Local 3022.
He plans to be a strong advocate for the citizens of the Township and to see that the Collector's office provides the maximum service possible to the community.

SANDRA WESTLUND-DEENIHAN - TRUSTEE
Sandra Westlund-Deenihan has served as the President and Design Engineer of Quality Float Works, Inc since 1995.

Sandra is also a leader in local community. She was appointed to the Hanover Township Board of Trustees in November 2007. Sandra holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona. Sandra and her husband, Maurice, reside in Illinois.

ROBERT J. GOFFINSKI - TRUSTEE
Robert J. Goffinski was elected Hanover Township Trustee in April of 2001 and re-elected in April of 2005. Since becoming Trustee, Bob serves as liaison for the Hanover Township Youth and Family Services Department.
Bob serves as President of Streamwood Lions Club and as Past President of the Hanover Park Committee on Youth. Bob was a member of the U-46 Citizen's Advisory Council (CAC) and served as CAC Legislative Committee Chairman and member of the CAC Executive Board for four years. Bob has been a member of the Streamwood High School Booster Club and member of SHS School Improvement Team.
Along with his civic interests, he has several hobbies, one of which is motorcycling. Bob is a member of ABATE of Illinois, Inc. and the Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF) of Washington, D.C. Bob was elected and served as CEO for ABATE of Illinois, Inc. for two years and a member of the Board of Directors of MRF. While with ABATE and the MRF, Bob represented motorcyclists to the Illinois General Assembly and the U.S. Congress.
Bob was born in Chicago and moved to Mt. Prospect at age 10. After graduating from Prospect High School in 1966, he attended Harper College and Northern Illinois University, completed a four year IBEW Electrical Apprentice Program. He is currently a Supervisor for Enertec, Inc. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bob has continued his education with classes offered by National Lewis University and Elgin Community College.
Bob has resided in Hanover Township for 23 years with his wife, Margaret, and their two daughters, Sara and Lea.

MARVIN J. KRAMER, JR. - TRUSTEE
Marvin J. Kramer, Jr. was appointed to fill a board vacancy as Trustee in 2002, and re-elected in April of 2005. Marv grew up in Melrose Park and currently resides in Elgin. He has an Associate Degree from Triton College in Data Processing and is currently a Lieutenant on the Streamwood Fire Department, where he has been for the past 14 years. Marv is also the Secretary of the Union, International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) Local 3022.
For the past year and a half Marv has served as the liaison for the Finance Committee at the Township. He is committed to keeping the Township fiscally strong and improving its services.

KATY DOLAN BAUMER - TRUSTEE
Serving is a habit with Katy Dolan Baumer, who believes that we can only better ourselves through service to others. Katy sees her role as Trustee as one of helping chart the Township's fiscal course for the future. As a nine year Trustee to the Poplar Creek Library Board, she feels that continuing service is the key to a healthy community. In addition to these positions, Katy serves as a Commissioner on the Blood Commission for the Village of Streamwood, holds the position as Secretary for the Streamwood Lions Club, President of the Streamwood Chamber of Commerce, Lioness Chair for Lions District 1-J, and Lioness Co-Chair for the State of Illinois Lions.
Katy is a resident of Streamwood and owns a company, Katy's All Types Services desktop publishing, located in the Village, and as such, is very concerned about the business environment, taxes and the community's welfare.
Appointed as Board liaison to the Township Mental Health Board, Katy hopes to assist in insuring that basic requirements are met and that monies are disbursed to best serve those in need. "It is an honor and privilege to serve the residents of Hanover Township in the capacity of Trustee," she stated.
